Lived in Boston for 5 years and just moved, I'm a flight attendant and have a layover here, never been to Rondos but holy moly I was missing out, currently devouring the steak combo (steak,cheese,mushrooms,onion,pepper) with a side of fries. It's amazing. The people there were also so kind and quick. If you are in or around the area. Make your way here if you want a fat tasty juicy sub for a good price.

Get the steak and cheese! The people in there are so nice and it seems like it's been a family business for a long time. They make great subs, especially the steak and cheese. The number of people I saw around eating it was not surprising because it's so good. They add in lettuce, mayo, tomatoes, and peppers if you want! You can customize it however you want. A lot of local people come to this shop for lunch or grab and go.

Bourdain never steers me wrong, even after all these years. Rondo's is the defintion of a mom and pop shop, with the charm, atmosphere, service, and prices to match. I got a large steak bomb for 12 bucks and split it with my guy. It was plenty of food for us both. The sub is made fresh right there and the flavor is out of this world. I highly recommend Rondo's for your steak and cheese cravings!
